Information Regarding Use of the Christ Campus Spiritual Center

The purpose of the Christ Campus Retreat Center is to serve as a welcoming, hospitable place for members of religious organizations to gather for meetings, conferences, classes, and retreats. Priority booking will be given to groups that are part of the Episcopal Diocese of Chicago.

Members of other denominations are welcome to use the facility when available.

To maintain a welcoming, hospitable place for all to gather, all groups who use the facility are asked to follow all regulations. The cooperation of all who use the facility is required.
Booking is handled through the parish office, 815-725-6800 or by e-mail, secretary@SECEC.net.
Diocesan groups may schedule space up to two (2) years in advance.
Parish groups may schedule space up to eighteen (18) months in advance.
Other groups may schedule space up to one (1) year in advance.
A preliminary number of people attending is requested when events are scheduled, and the final count is needed ten (10) days prior to the event.
A deposit of $60.00 is due at the time of booking the event.
Reservations cancelled less than ten (10) days prior to the event will result in forfeit of the deposit.
Youth events must conform to the Episcopal Diocese of Chicago Youth Event Covenant.
Check out time for all events is 2:00 PM.

Kitchen Services

All food, snacks, and beverages must be brought in by the group. Any unused food stuff is to be removed.
The kitchens are to be left clean with all dishes washed. Clean dishes may be left in the dishwasher in the Persell House.
All garbage, food stuff, and paper are to be removed from the spiritual center by those using the center as there is no trash service for the center.

Room Usage

Each group will be responsible for the set up of tables, chairs, etc. in the meeting room (s). The Persell House has a TV monitor with a DVD player.
Overnight retreat guests are required to bring their own toiletries and towels.
Bed linens are supplied. At the end of the retreat, the used bed linens are to be placed in the laundry area in each building. The beds are to be made with clean linens available in each room.
